Primary 4P and Primary 4S had an enjoyable class trip to the Aberdeen Biodiversity Centre this week.
The children were thrilled to explore the vast array of animal exhibits housed in the museum and they worked with a partner to complete the museum trail. They tested their knowledge of animal classification and experienced sorting a vast collection of vertebrates into their appropriate group. The children had another taste of being real scientists and used microscopes to examine feathers and gecko skin.
Outside, the children participated in a scavenger hunt in the Cruickshank Gardens Rose Garden and even got a close look at a dead toad!
A super day of science!
